Pretty in Pink
True story - when I was in the 9th grade I exclusively wore pink. Every. Single. Day.
I must’ve developed this love for pink in the 8th grade when Reese Witherspoon played Elle Woods in Legally Blonde and for my birthday going into 9th grade my parents bought me a pink leather jacket. It’s still in my closet today.

These days I usually admire punchy outfits from afar and stick to basics like white, black and army green. While it’s definitely not a staple in my closet anymore, I know that I’m ready for spring when I start to grab the pink pieces that I own.
I love a BIG pop of pink like a pair of statement pants or statement jacket.
I am obsessed with this leather look blazer from Steve Madden. If I didn’t already own 3 pink blazers… The spaghetti style bag is trending right now and this pink color is a fun, inexpensive way to try it out for spring. I am so happy the trouser pant is trending right now. Not only do I have the pink Victoria Beckham x Target pair but I have a black pair that I wear weekly. If you think of trousers as an everyday pant and not corporate-wear, they become easier to style. You could style this pink pair from Amazon with a metallic sandal, a white tank and a denim jacket.
Another great way to add a bright pop to your outfit is in fun accessories - oversized earrings and bright shoes.

The pair with the 3 balls is a great way to add pink to an outfit without standing out too much. There’s just enough color to pop but they could also be slightly hidden behind your hair. I own these Manolo Blank Hangisi dupes and can attest to how comfortable they are. I’m a solid 8 in flats and got an 8 in these - perfect fit. These jeweled earrings are so fun and the red, pink and white allow you to wear them with a larger range of colors.
