4 Summer Sandals I've Worn on Repeat

One thing I love about summer is the ease of slipping into a sandal. I love winter and wearing boots, but I want none of that when it’s 90+ degrees. Here are 4 summer sandals I’ve been wearing on repeat for the last few summers.

Strappy Sandal

I was so excited to find these black ones when I was thrifting one day. I’ve been obsessed with these for a few months now but almost $300 is not in my budget. This pair is less expensive and has a simpler strap detail. I love how simple all of these are. They look more refined than a basic thong sandal, and make you look like you put effort into getting dressed.

Chunky Sandal

I’ve been wearing some form of a strappy, platform dad sandal for years now and it’s not going away. Between the Nike Icon classics and all the Chanel and Dior dad sandal dupes, I’m sure I don’t need another pair of chunky sandals. I saw this suede UGG pair while in Iceland and they’re on my wishlist. (Hint hint, babe.) These Doc Marten sandals are less chunky and more classic if you’re not sold on the Dad sandal. I love the added height a chunky sandal gives me.

Metallic Sandal

A metallic sandal is an easy way to elevate an outfit. I’ve worn this studded sandal version for a few years now and they are so comfy that I can walk 10,000+ steps in them. They’ve held up so well that they’re worth the price, and worth re-purchasing if you manage to wear them out. This metallic pair comes in silver and gold (as well as a few other options) and they have rave reviews. They’re a great price point for a trendy sandal. A metallic sandal is a great way to dress up an outfit without adding a heel.

Clear Strap Sandal (or heel)

I love a clear strap shoe for when an outfit looks great shoeless, but you obviously have to wear a shoe. I purchased these heels and nearly returned them because the strap felt too loose. I’m so glad I didn’t because they fit perfect as my feet swell and shrink during the day. Oh, the joys of the summer heat! I also wore them for our military ball in May and wore them for a solid 6 hours without any issues. Here’s a flat version of a clear strap shoe and a chunky heel option. These also look super cute with a boyfriend jean and a basic tee, or a t-shirt dress.
