Prime Day Deals 2023
If you know me at all, you know I love a good deal! Here are a few of my favorite Prime Day Deals this year. These are things I’ve purchased (and repurchased), things that I’ve been waiting to score a deal on, and things I stock up on because we run through them. It’s also a great time to get a head start on those school supply lists!
Alexa devices
We have multiple Alexa devices that we still use in Korea. We have an Echo Dot (3rd gen) in Millie’s room because she can’t sleep without music. This is the updated 5th gen. We have an Echo Show 8 in London’s room that she uses as an alarm clock, a radio, makes video calls to her friends and grandparents, and occasionally she earns the opportunity to watch Netflix and Amazon Prime shows. She also asks Alexa questions ALLDAYLONG. We have a second Echo Show 8 in our room that I use as a clock, to play music and as a news outlet. Originally we bought one of these to keep in our kitchen to keep us entertained while cooking, we did not buy it for London. We also gifted many Echo Show's and as a non-tech person, it is one device I recommend to friends. They’ve since come out with the Echo Show 10 and the Echo Show 15 - which looks super sleek and cool - and they’re all majorly discounted for Prime Day.
Amazon Kindle
We are BIG book lovers in this family. Brandon and I have had some form of e-reader for 20+ years now and both prefer them over our phones. Our last PCS occurred at the end of London’s 1st grade year and even after our household goods had shipped, I was still ordering Scholastic books. Our luggage was nearing its weight limit when it occurred to me that a Kindle would be a great device for London. This was probably one of my greatest ideas of all time. It’s a lightweight piece that she can carry on her own and has held up terrifically over the past few years. We pay for Amazon Kids+ and their free kids book library is extensive. London has found so many new books and series that she loves and this is great because her school library and our local library only get so many copies of each book. She loves to reread books and having a Kindle has allowed her to grow her library without adding any weight to our household goods. Win-win all around! If you purchase one of these kindles, you get 3 months free of kindle unlimited to try!
Beauty Products
I’ve been using this hyaluronic acid since 2017. I see such a difference when I use this and my micro roller. The price isn’t discounted but there is a $1 off coupon.
You can also find my favorite LED face mask on promo this year and it is such a steal! This is the lowest price I’ve seen and you can add a 7% off coupon.
I’ve purchased these under eye masks several times over the last few years. I just recently ran out and added them to my cart in hopes they’d be a Prime Day deal and they are! They’re lightweight, fragrance free and I use them in the mornings before I take Millie to daycare. When I pull them off, I wipe what’s left all over my forehead and neck.
This Maybelline lip crayon is the only thing I wear lately. I like to layer this nude and this nude. This and this are the two best reds I’ve been able to find also. They're long lasting, matte feeling and a little goes a long way. I toss it in my purse but almost never reapply throughout the day.
This Green Tangerine vitamin C face mask is my favorite of all the ones I’ve tried. $7 for a pack of 5 is a steal - I don’t even think I can buy them that cheap here in Korea!
Must Have’s
I bought this belt hole puncher for one belt… 4 years ago. I have used it on nearly every belt I have purchased since then. It is so easy to add a hole so I can wear a belt higher or lower. It takes about 2 minutes to punch a hole once you master it. I also don’t have to worry when a store has every size except mine in stock in a belt I want. It has 6 different hole sizes and you can use it on a variety of fabrics and materials, not just leather belts.
Headrest car charger is a game changer! 3 different chargers conveniently located for kids (and parents) to reach. With as much time as we spend in the car, I don’t know how I haven’t ordered one of these before.
Summer in South Korea is H O T HOT. Two summers ago we bought 3 pairs of this neck fan. I use it when walking around town, London “has to have one” and at some point, Brandon wore them when flying. These are summer must have’s in our home.
Brandon is ALWAYS watching a show on his phone and back in March he purchased this shower holder. He loves it and it’s 20% off.
For the Kids
Magnetic blocks are still a big hit in our house for both kids. This is a great deal PLUS there’s a coupon for another 10% off.
London loves LEGO sets, especially the LEGO friends and this horse one and the art school one are both 30% off. If we hadn’t just ordered this one for her birthday, I would’ve bought both of those.
I also compared London’s school supply list with what’s on promo. These BIC blue pens are on her list and the price is great but I can get everything else at a better price locally. HOWEVER, if you’re supply shopping for multiple kids, a classroom or fulfilling a teacher’s wishlist, there are a ton of deals out there.
Fashion
This bag is a great dupe for the Dior saddle bag. The white color is so pretty! This is a great way to get a designer look for an even better price.
These Under Armor pants that Brandon owns in almost every color.
These Manolo Blahnik Hangisi lookalikes are about half off. I have them in white and they truly are super comfortable. I can wear them all night without any issues. Highly recommend them if you like the look!
I’ve also added this tank bodysuit and this tank bodysuit to my cart. Not only are these great pieces for now but they’ll be easy layering pieces come fall and winter. I also love this one in white.
I’m sure many more deals will pop up over time so be sure to follow me on instagram @sarahsymbalisty and I’ll share my finds in my stories!
