Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl 2025 Statement Jeans
Kendrick Lamar’s 2025 Super Bowl halftime performance left a lasting impression, not only because of his electrifying music but also thanks to his eye-catching fashion. The standout piece? His flared jeans from Celine, which quickly became the subject of heated online debates. Okay - confession: I didn’t actually watch the Super Bowl or the halftime show in real time but even I couldn't avoid seeing those jeans making the rounds on social media before I got around to it.

It’s been nearly 20 years, but those jeans felt like a blast from the past—almost identical to the ones many of us wore back in 2005. When I finally parted ways with my favorite flared jeans, they were so worn out that they had huge rips in both knees, the back hem was completely shredded, and they were a good inch shorter than the front hem. Still, they were so soft they almost felt like velvet.
If you’re itching to get your hands on a similar pair, be prepared to fork out $1,300, as these Celine jeans retail for that price (you can grab them here). But if that price tag is a little too steep (which, honestly, who could blame you?), I’ve rounded up some fantastic dupes that will give you the same vibe without breaking the bank!
Starting off with the priciest jeans on my list, these Mother jeans are a great dupe, have a looser fit through the leg and the frayed hem is giving early 2000’s vibes.
These LEE Jeans are the most inexpensive on my list and they look stunning on the model. Currently on sale for under $20, there are 8 color options and they come in regular, short and long lengths. I ordered these just before posting this!
An under $50 option are these Gap jeans. High rise, 70’s inspired flare, but the sizes left are limited!
Another classic are the Levi’s 726 High Rise Flare Jeans. These come in so many color options AND plus size!
